Daniel Albalate

Visiting Scholar

Professor Albalate received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Barcelona (Spain) in 2008 and a M.A. in Economics from University College London (United Kingdom) in 2006.

He currently serves as lecturer of Economics at the University of Barcelona (Spain).  Albalate's research focuses on regulation and privatization policies in the field of transportation, as well as public policy formation and evaluation.

He has published in a variety of journals including Public Administration Review, the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, and Transportation Research Part A.
