Dr. Hassan has joined the Glenn School as an assistant professor after receiving his Ph.D. in public administration and policy with a concentration in organizational behavior from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs at the University at Albany (SUNY).
His research primarily focuses on the role of work climate on employees’ work motivation, commitment and performance in government and non-profit organizations.
His current research examines how perceptions of organizational justice influence public sector employees’ work attitudes and behaviors.
He is also interested in how managers in public agencies can influence their subordinates’ work motivation and performance.
Before joining the Glenn School, Dr. Hassan worked as a business analyst and an information technology consultant for several large state and local government agencies in New York and California.
